Captivated by the beauty of nature and the cosmos, I draw inspiration from patterns and motifs, stories, and art that echos through time. Art found on ancient pottery, formed from the earth and etched with meaningful stories, inspires my creative journey.
With a background in graphic design, I've practiced the art of illuminated letterforms inspired by historical motifs, byzantine iconography for symbolism, beauty, communication, and prayer.
My passion for photography also shapes my artistic process, offering new perspectives and ways of interpreting the subject matter.
Recently, I published a children’s book that weaves together my love of storytelling, showcasing nature and flora from journaling in the AZ desert.
I hold a BFA in Studio Art with a Minor in Music from the University of Arizona, and a BS in Design Science from the College of Architecture at Arizona State University.
